Today I celebrate with you this beautiful distinction that fills me with pride. ❤️
I have been recognized as Outstanding Dietitian of 2020 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Puerto Rico Chapter.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals and today has more than 100,000 members. It was founded in 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio, by a group of women who were dedicated to helping the government save food and improve public health during the First World War. Its Puerto Rico Chapter was founded in 1959, and it is the accrediting organization for academic programs that prepare professionals in the field of nutrition and dietetics, as well as regulating admission to professional practice.
